THE HONORARY TOWN CRIER CHALLENGE

1. THE CHALLENGE

Become an Honorary Town Crier at A Dickens Holiday 2025 by completing themed prompts that highlight performers, shops, restaurants, carriage rides, and festive downtown moments. Complete a prompt, post it, and you’re entered to win.

2. THE RULES

1. Complete any one of the prompts below during  the 2025  A Dickens Holiday.
    
2. Take a photo or short video showing the prompt.
    
3. Post it on Facebook or Instagram.
    
4. Include both hashtags: #ADickensHoliday25 and #BeADickensTownCrier.
    
5. Each completed prompt = 1 entry.
    
6. Entries must be posted by 4:30 PM.
    
7. Winner announced on stage during the evening program.
    
8. Free and open to all ages.
    

1. Cry It Out – Record yourself giving a “Hear ye, Hear ye!” anywhere in the footprint.
    
2. Meet a Performer – Photo or video with any Dickens performer or character.
    
3. Carriage Moment – Photo or video near the Marquis or Jubilee Carriage Rides.
    
4. Market Marvels – A favorite vendor booth or handcrafted item at the Dickens markets.
    
5. Taste of Dickens — Restaurants – A meal, drink, treat, or special from any downtown restaurant or café.
    
6. Victorian Fashion Find – Dickens-inspired attire or accessories on yourself or someone you spot.
    
7. Spot the Bobbies – Photo or video with a London Bobbie.
    
8. Inside the Shops – Photo or video taken inside any downtown retailer.
    
9. Festive Shopfront – A decorated storefront or holiday window downtown.
    
10. The Final Cry – Any joyful moment that shows why you love A Dickens Holiday.
